A busy, local home builder (30 years in business) is looking for an individual to complete the final cleaning of newly built homes and perform light labour on sites. This could lead into a bigger role for the right person. Employer is offering good wages for the right person. He stated that ideally, he would like a mature, reliable person (retired is okay). The work is not heavy and they need someone as soon as possible.
Duties:
- Keeping site clean
- Performing Final Cleaning of newly built homes getting them ready for occupants
including:- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, washing and wiping down all surfaces
- Cleaning windows, removing waste/scrap materials from home and job site
- Assist with other tasks – raking and leveling gravel; light labour on site and other jobs as required
Requirements:
- Previous use of power tools and or construction/carpentry experience an asset
- Able to work well with others and be self-motivated when working alone
- Reliable and honest
- Safety boots and safety goggles required – Employer will supply hard hat
- 25-40 hours a week
