A local company specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of concrete products is looking to add to their team by hiring a full time Plant Manager. This position requires physical labour as well as supervision of a small number of employees.
Duties:
- Organization of product
- Bagging and unloading of product using Forklift
- Order sorting and filling
- Shipping and receiving duties
- Production and production planning
- Scheduling duties
- Quality assurance
- Supervisory duties
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing/plant environment
- Must possess Dangerous Goods certification
- Must possess Forklift certificate
- Health & Safety Certification
- Leadership experience is an asset
- Knowledge of various shipping and receiving roles
- Reliable transportation is mandatory
- Ability to multi-task and think on your feet
- Strong problem solving abilities
