Office Worker – #6185 – A
A local employer operating auctions for stamp collectors every seven weeks is looking to hire a part time Office Worker to assist with day to day operations. This position provides daytime hours Monday to Friday. Hours will vary from 3-5 days per week depending on auction schedule. There is the potential for this to lead to full time work.
- Scanning of auction lots
- Numbering auction lots
- Assembling orders
- Preparing, wrapping, and shipping orders to customers
- Mailing auction catalogues, and stuffing envelopes
- Various data entry and typing of auction lot descriptions
- Other duties as required
- Good computer skills and knowledge
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well independently and with a team
- Receptive to instruction and learning new tasks
- Ability to multi-task and be flexible in job duties
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move boxes as required
