Smithville Garage is looking to add an Automotive Service Coordinator to their team. This full time position is a new role with the company and the successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm and occasionally on Saturday mornings. Applicants will need to be comfortable with computers and have the ability to learn new software. Prior experience working in an automotive garage is a definite asset.
Duties:
- Greeting customers at reception
- Answering incoming phone calls
- Scheduling appointments for clients
- Directing inquiries to appropriate staff
- Entering details and managing billing in computerized system
- Processing customer payments
- Receiving and sorting incoming mail
- Cleaning and maintaining reception area
- Ordering parts and processing warranty claims
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience in a receptionist or customer service role
- Prior experience in an automotive role is an asset
- Excellent computer skills are mandatory
- Great customer service skills
- Friendly and helpful demeanor is a must
- Able to multi-task in a busy automotive service garage
- Open daytime availability Monday to Saturday
