Sobeys Beamsville is actively seeking a Deli Clerk. This position offers part time hours. The ideal candidate must be available to work days or afternoons various days throughout the week including weekends.
Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Assist customers as needed
- Follow safe food handling processes and procedures
- Restock cooler and move product; discard expired product
- Maintain a clean and orderly work station
- Slice and package various deli meats and products
- Run production sheets
- Clean and sanitize work station in compliance with safety and sanitation processes
Requirements:
- Safe Food Handling certificate, an asset
- WHMIS training, an asset
- Health & Safety training, an asset
- Basic computer skills
- Retail experience, an asset
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
