A social media company based out of St. Catharines is seeking a part time sales person to join their growing team. This company has had 21 years of success in Ecommerce and Social Media management. The employer is looking for controlled growth with an ideal goal of 10 sales per month with a commission of $150.00 per sale. The ideal candidate has knowledge of the different social media platforms and a variety of sales experience, including knowledge of the sales process, anticipating and overcoming objections and knowing how to close a sale. The employer and existing team can provide support regarding product knowledge and technology but does not have the sales expertise to support the sales process – this is where you come in. This position offers a lot of flexibility around scheduling and workspace. The employer has a workspace available in their home base however, for the most part work can be done remotely. The employer’s phone system can transfer calls directly to a cell phone and can also include an answering machine that scribes messages into emails.

  • Networking
  • Increase sales while respecting controlled growth
  • Overcome objections
  • Maintain open lines of communication
  • Develop a pool of potential new clients
Requirements:
  • Previous sales experience a must
  • Objection handling skills
  • Ability to close sales with no additional support required
  • Own vehicle with valid insurance
  • Must be a team player
  • Experience using a Mac an asset
  • Must be a self starter
  • Excellent communication skills
