Staalduinen Floral Ltd. processes & distributes an extensive line of cut flowers, flowering plants, cut greens, floral supplies and cut flower bouquets. Staalduinen Floral has been a well-respected name in the floral industry for over 50 years with a reputation based upon being the foremost provider of high quality floral products, exceptional service and best-in-class order fulfillment.

They are currently looking for a Floral Production Assistant to join their team. Days of work will be Monday – Friday with occasional Saturdays

Duties:

Primary responsibilities are to assist in the following:

  • Coordinating daily activities of bouquet production team
  • Ensuring paperwork is properly recorded and processed
  • Produce cut flower bouquets
  • Complete QC checks
  • Preparing orders for shipment
  • Maintaining accurate inventory
  • Ensuring work area is maintained in a clean and safe work condition
  • Supporting operations as directed by management including packing and production materials supply
  • Adhere to all company guidelines, procedures and policies
  • Carry out any additional tasks as requested by Management
Requirements:
  • Prior bouquet production experience is an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is required
  • Computer proficiency
  • Sound work ethics
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Team player

Working Condition include:

  • High energy, faced paced production environment
  • Standing for entire shift
  • Lifting of boxes / buckets up to 30 lbs
  • Portions of the day may be spent working in a cool warehouse
  • Moving floral carts (both full and empty)
  • Due to the nature of the floral industry, longer hours will be required around flower holidays

Other: Benefits available to full-time employees after successful completion of a three-month probationary period
