Position: Warehouse – Shipper Receiver
Duties:
Summary of Primary tasks
The Warehouse-Floral Labourer reports to the Operations Manager:
- Picking and packing orders for shipping
- Product placement in the shipping area
- Receiving - verifying incoming shipments
- Inventory control and quality assurance
- Ensure the loading area is maintained in a clean and organized fashion at all times
- Shipping - verifying counts and loading outgoing product on company fleet
- Adhere to all company guidelines, procedures and policies
- Carry out any additional tasks as requested by the Operations Manager
Requirements:
Knowledge & Skills
- Prior experience working in shipping & receiving is an asset
- Prior experience in floral distribution is an asset
- Fork lift Cert is an asset
- Training will be provided

Working Conditions
- High energy, fast paced warehouse environment with various temperature zones in the warehouse; Cooler: 3-4˚C, Warehouse/Packing room: 10˚C to 18˚C
- Standing/walking most of the shift
- Lifting boxes up to 50lbs (average 20-35 lbs)
- Moving floral carts (both empty and full)
Hours
- Full time hours as scheduled
- Weekend availability required
- Some extended hours required around floral holidays
Compensation
- Hourly wage - competitive - based on experience

- Full Time position with benefits to full time employees after successful completion of a three- month probationary period
