Duties:
The Warehouse Floral Labourer reports to the Operations Manager:
- Picking orders for packing
- Packing orders for shipping
- Product placement within the warehouse
- Inventory control and quality assurance
- Shipping and Receiving (loading and unloading trucks)
- Ensure the warehouse is maintained in a clean and organized fashion at all times.
- Adhere to all company guidelines, procedures and policies.
- Carry out any additional tasks as requested by the Operations Manager
Requirements:
Knowledge & Skills:
- Prior experience working in a Shipping and Receiving is an asset
- Prior experience in Floral distribution is an asset
- Fork lift Cert is an asset
- Training will be provided

Working Conditions:
- High energy, fast paced warehouse environment with various temperature zones in the warehouse
- Cooler: 3-4˚C, Warehouse/Packing room: 10˚C to 18˚C
- Standing/walking most of the shift
- Lifting boxes up to 50lbs (average 20-35 lbs)
- Moving floral carts (both empty and full)
Hours:
- The warehouse operates from Monday to Sunday
- Mondays are standard
- Saturdays or Sundays are required
- Due to the nature of the floral industry, extended hours will be required around flower holidays
- Part time is also available - averaging 10-30 hrs per week
Compensation:
- Hourly wage – competitive – is based on experience
- Full time with benefits (after probationary period)
