Shifts: 8-Hour Rotating Shifts/12-Hour Continental Shifts
The purpose of this role is to support the smooth and efficient running of the Press and to ensure orders are printed to specifications.
- Set up print jobs in relation to production schedule
- Oversee operation of Press and relay print issues to Printing and Converting Manager
- Prep print jobs by scanning barcodes and ensuring colour match specifications are met
- Provide daily, weekly and monthly maintenance to the press
- Coordinate internal service repairs or maintenance
- Coordinate outside service vendors when needed
- Complete and maintain accurate paperwork of Press tasks (quality checks, job set-up, etc)
- Provide additional assistance on the Press as needed
- Previous Press or Printer experience (1-2 years)
- Ability to colour match
- Able to trouble-shoot mechanical issues as they arise on the Press
- Strong attention to detail
- Can work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Able to prioritize workloads based on production demands
- Excellent communication skills
