HR and Bookkeeping Representative – #6335 – A
A local farm, in Stoney Creek, is seeking an HR and Bookkeeping Representative to join their team. This position is available for an immediate start. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties to ensure overall efficiency with all team members at farm. Responsibilities for all departments to ensure work flow is in order include a healthy and safe work-place environment and to ensure that all Federal and Provincial laws regarding farm operations, (within our classification) workforce planning and employment implementing the organization’s recruitment strategies. The HR Administrator will also work very closely with the CEO to develop and manage an active and progressive business plan to ensure that the farm’s full potential is realized and is continuously improving as we strive to expand our business.
- To continue to implement the workplace culture, values and all policies including updates with bodies of regulations including ESA
- Implement company culture, values and policies, employee performance, training and development
- To continue with HR recruitment and training including Temporary Foreign Workers
- To work as a member of a team with operations regarding to gathering and record keeping of all levels
- All bookkeeping and administrative data entry and maintenance of employee records including payroll
- Participate in the investigation and guidance for disciplinary actions
- Assist with better efficiency and cost effectiveness of the company including research as required
- Previous experience in Human Resources and or other related fields
- Experience in conflict resolution, knowledge of labour and employment laws
- Ability to build rapport with all employees and strong leadership qualities
