We are a well-established mobile power washing company looking for a dedicated and reliable individual to work one to two days per week in our shop doing general maintenance.

The successful candidate will be available to work a flexible, part time schedule, specifically Wednesdays and Fridays. Candidates must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and have intermediate/advanced mechanical abilities.

Hours and Compensation:

  • Days of the week—Two days a week, usually Wednesdays and Fridays
  • Hours – 8-24 hours a week
  • Pay Rate – $16-21/hour. Pay rate and increases are based on merit and experience.
Duties:
  • Set-up of equipment and vehicles for weekend work (involves checking over over small engines & pumps, replenishing supplies for work, minor repairs as needed, etc.)
  • Maintaining & cleaning equipment and vehicles (oil changes, minor repairs, crimping hoses)
  • Schedule 1 vehicle inspections
  • Maintaining a clean & organized shop
  • Pick up & delivery of parts
  • Maintaining inventory
  • General shop work (sweeping, garbage, washing uniforms, basic repairs and upkeep of office and shop)
  • Other duties on an ‘as needed’ basis
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in a mechanical setting
  • A valid G Driver’s License and clean driver abstract would be an asset but not required
  • Experience in the hydraulics industry would be an asset but not required (knowledge of  fittings/hoses/valves/equipment)
  • Experience in small engine repair and vehicle repair would also be an asset but not required
