Job Summary
Tecvalco Ltd. is currently recruiting for a Finance Clerk at our Niagara Falls, ON location! The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing daily financial activities along with performing general clerical duties.
- Answer phone inquiries
- Maintaining filing system- customer paid invoices, vendor bills, etc.
- Process accounts payable ensuring timeliness and accuracy of information
- Process accounts receivable ensuring timeliness and accuracy
- Prepare daily bank deposits
- Update and ensure the accuracy of the organization's databases
- Provide secretarial and administrative support to management and other staff
- Process monthly expenses for sales staff
- Pay bills
- Prepare government remittances
- Assist with the preparation of payroll
- Daily bank reconciliations for all companies
- 2-3 years previous experience in a financial role
- Must have prior working experience with payroll software
- Proven knowledge of administrative and financial functions and tasks
- Post-secondary education in a related capacity will be considered an asset
- Strong computer and research skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
