- Demonstrate a positive and proactive attitude and be committed to providing exceptional guest care.
- Check in/Check out guests in a friendly and professional manner ensuring accuracy of all information/billing.
- Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome.
- Complete the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from hotel-based computer system.
- Code electronic keys, provide welcome folders containing room keys, certificates and coupons as appropriate.
- Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization using electronic acceptance methods. Handle cash, make change and various cashiering duties.
- Answer telephone/switchboard promptly ensuring all questions are answered and forwarded to correct department.
- Take reservations, upsell whenever possible.
- Resolve guest complaints in a timely professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure things run smoothly.
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
- Must be willing to pitch in and help co-workers when needed.
- Excellent conflict resolution skills.
- Work well independently and as part of a team.
- Stand for extended periods of time.
- Communicate well with others.
- Full-time and Part-time
- Transportation required (not on bus route)
- Days, evenings, weekends.
