The Holland Garden is part of Flowers Canada Growers, the national trade association of the Canadian floral industry. Our members across Canada include greenhouse growers, distributors and importers/exporters all dealing with cut flowers, potted plants, bedding plants, cut greens and specialty suppliers and services to the industry.
Duties:
- Direct quality control inspections
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems and methods of work
- Develop equipment maintenance schedules and recommend the replacement of machines
- Hire, supervise and train or oversee training of employees in the use of new equipment or production techniques
Requirements:
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment under pressure with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Experience managing a team of 5-20 staff
- Attention to detail
