A local contractor specializing in building homes and framing is seeking a full time Carpentry Labourer to start immediately.
Job sites and projects span across Port Colborne, Welland and the St. Catharines area.
Willing to train the right candidate.
Duties:
- Perform general carpentry and framing duties
- Operate hand, air and power tools to construct and assemble
- Assist in the assembly and building
- Carrying materials
- Maintaining clean and safe job sites
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be able to follow instructions
- Able to perform physically demanding labour; lifting, bending
- Motivated, eager and willing to learn
- Able to work with hands; experience using a tape measure
- Reliable transportation to various job sites within surrounding Niagara areas
- Steel toe boots
- WHMIS training, an asset
- Health & Safety, an asset
