Outdoor Power Equipment Technician – #5526 – L
We’re hiring an Outdoor Power Equipment Technician for our busy shop that services the Niagara Region! From small handheld tools such as string trimmers and chainsaws, to walk mowers, riding mowers and commercial zero turns, we specialize in sales & service and would love to have you join our team!
We pride ourselves in offering honest & efficient services to our clients. Rate of pay will be negotiated based on experience (potential for starting wage at $17-20 per hour).
- Diagnosing and completing repairs on customer’s equipment based on described symptoms/service requests
- Communicating/following up with customers to ensure satisfaction with quotes and knowledgeable advice prior to repair work
- Reading work orders, looking necessary repair parts & recording parts + labour on work orders
- Willingness to step in and assist where needed in the showroom or shop in line with our desire to offer our customers our best
- Mechanical experience preferred
- G Drivers licence repaired
- Own basic set of tools
- Good communication skills required
- Good Computer skills required
- Physically capable to lift machinery & work in a fast paced environment
The successful candidate will have initiative, be a team player, have good problem solving skills, communicate effectively with fellow co-workers and clients.
They will be required to attend yearly manufacturer training to keep up to date with the latest innovations in our industry and must be willing to learn and grow alongside the rest of our team.
