A local variety store is looking to hire a mature Cashier / Store Clerk. This position offers part time hours and may lead to full time. Hours of work will vary as the store is open 7 days per week.
Duties:
- Process cash, debit and credit card transactions
- Stock shelves and coolers
- Sell and process lottery tickets and tobacco
- Sell liquor and beer
- Clean and maintain work area
- Assist customers in a friendly and pleasant manner
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Smart Serve Certificate
- Strong communication skills
- Able to multi task
- Previous cash handling experience
