VRX Fishing is a local manufacturer of fishing bait and equipment. They are looking to hire a full time Packager/Assembler to join their team.
Duties:
- Packaging baits as directed by Supervisor
- Ensuring each package has correct number of baits
- Placing UPC’s on packages
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- Efficient communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to details
- Positive attitude, hard working and highly motivated
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read and write in English
- Self motivated
- Ability to multi task and stay organized
- Solid analytical skills
- Own transportation to and from work
- Knowledge of product an asset
- Previous experience in an assembler/packager, and/or production role an asset
Working Conditions:
- Long periods of standing or sitting with repetitive motions
- Ability to work some long days as required
- Lifting/carrying
