A local contracting company is actively seeking a Construction Labourer to assist with the installation of concrete footings for residential houses. This position offers full time hours, Monday – Friday, 7am to 5pm. Immediate start date for right candidate.
Duties:
- Lift and move building materials
- Load and unload work truck
- Rake and finish concrete
- General maintenance
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- Previous construction experience, an asset
- Familiar with the use of small hand tools
- Able to work in all weather conditions
- Able to perform physical labour; some lifting required
- Must have own hammer, tape measure and steel toe work boots
- Must have own reliable transportation to travel to work sites throughout West Niagara (some carpooling may be available)
- Motivated and willing to learn
- Employer will train
