Your Neighbourhood Pizza, in Beamsville is currently looking for a qualified Kitchen Manager for a full time position (35 – 40+ hours per week).
Duties:
- Oversee kitchen staff while also performing all aspects of the job
- Assist in training new staff
- Ensure quality and consistency of food being prepared
- Manage inventory and ensure that prep work is done and staff are prepared to complete food orders
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Work with customer service staff to ensure strong communication between the front line and the kitchen
- Assign tasks while also demonstrating strong work ethics
- Other duties as required and within the scope of the job
Requirements:
- Management or supervisory experience in the food and beverage industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Able to work while standing for extended periods of time
- Flexible to work all shifts (longer hours required during the summer season)
- Must have or be willing to get Safe Food Handling Certificate
