Zwart Systems requires an enthusiastic and energetic Installation Technician to install irrigation systems and equipment. The right candidate must display an aptitude and willingness for learning and have an exceptional work ethic. Zwart Systems has been in business for 50 years and is considered a market leader that specializes in the design, fabrication and installation of irrigation, humidification, filtration, wire forming and benching systems within the horticulture industry. This key role requires a candidate who is a team player with excellent listening, organizational, inter-personal and customer service skills that is looking for a career with a progressive organization that encourages positive work and personal growth. MUST be able and willing to travel out of town as dictated by work demands, including staying over night for a week at a time.
- Experience in irrigation / plumbing
- Experience in horticulture industry an asset
- Extremely reliable
- Able to read CAD drawings and blueprints
- Acute attention to detail
- Able to follow direction
- Strong ability to function well under pressure

- Able to complete paperwork accurately
- Reliable, punctual and motivated
- Ability to work well individually or as part of a Team
- Valid G Licence with clean Driver’s Abstract is a condition of employment
- Valid Passport a requirement of the job
- Significant travel will be required as deemed by work demands and is a condition of
employment
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Working at Heights, Forklift, Telehandler, Confined Space, Aerial Work Platform and First Aid Training are an asset

- Zwart Systems offers two weeks’ vacation, competitive wages based on skillset and experience
- Daily Travel Expenses (Per Diem) paid when out of town and an annual compensation benefit for Out of Town Travel
